Bihar's fastest growing and academically galloping GOPAL NARAYAN SINGH UNIVERSITY launched its maiden eFDP through its Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Management Studies under the aegis of IQAC on Sunday, May 10, 2020 on the topic CYBER WARFARE - INFORMATION SECURITY CHALLENGES featuring Resource persons from both academia and corporate sector with around a hundred participants joining from across the country. The three experts who opined on the occasion were PROF. SUNIL KUMAR PANDEY (Director-IT; ITS-Ghaziabad), SHRI S.H. ABBAS MEHDI (Joint Director, Ministry of IT, Govt. of India) and DR. H. D'COSTA (CEO-Intelligent Quotient Security System) that included various facets like Cyber Crime, digital foot printing, digital divide, secure data transaction, securing network, Nigerian fraud, dark web, IoT, cloud computing, https issues.
The programme was inaugurated by Chancellor Shri Gopal Narayan Singh ji and Vice Chancellor Prof. M. L. verma jointly. The event was presided over by the Secretary Shri Govind Narayan Singh ji. On the occasion, founding Dean - FMS, Prof. Alok Kumar welcomed the guests. The Convener Dr. Abhishek Srivastava (HoD-IT) presented the theme appreciation while Vote-of-thanks was presented by the Registrar, Dr. R. S. Jaiswal. On the occasion, MD of the society, Shri Trivikram Narayan Singh along with faculty members and staff of FMS were also present.
