Moot court competitions are an integral part of the life of law students. What laboratories are to the science discipline, Moot courts are to the law discipline. Students get a chance to enhance their verbal and written communication skills which is a sin qua non for their career progression. They get a chance to argue before a panel of judges. Preparation for the moot court involves a lot of brainstorming as moot court competitions have become a symbol of intellectual prowess in law schools around the globe.
We, at Narayan School of law, take moot court activities very seriously. To cultivate a mooting culture in the college, we work tirelessly to encourage students to participate.
We have a dedicated moot court hall with all the facilities to achieve a vibrant mooting culture.
We regularly conduct workshops on the different aspects of moot court activities. We have invited many experts in mooting to interact with our students and guide them. Our faculty members also conduct training sessions for the students regularly.
We have a dedicated moot court society headed by a faculty convenor and three other faculty members. Students are also represented in society as secretaries and joint Secretaries. The society conducts and supervises all the activities related to the moot court.
We specially focus on the intra-moot Court competitions. We have conducted three intra-moot court competitions in a single academic session. During the COVID and ensuing lockdown, we organised a virtual intra-moot court competition.
We also encourage and facilitate students to participate in the national moot court competitions conducted by various reputed universities.
Our objective is to organise a Moot Court competition at National Level in the coming months.
