Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF)

The Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) at Gopal Narayan Singh University, Jamuhar has been created with a mission to strengthen technological infrastructure for promoting R&D in the university. At present, the facility is equipped with three high-end equipment: HPLC, FTIR and Bench-top UV-VIS spectrophotometer, which can be used for chemical/material analysis, testing, and characterization.

The facility will enable researchers to keep pace with resaerch and publish their research findings in peer-reviewed high-impact factor journals. This newly developed facility will be extensively used by postgraduate students, doctoral students, and faculty members.

Mission

To develop a state-of-the-art facility center and promote optimum utilization of resources supporting analytical and research activities.

Objectives

• To carry out advanced research of various disciplines under a single roof and make services available to research activity.
• To organize short-term courses/workshops on the use and application of various instruments and analytical techniques.
• To develop skilled manpower in operation and maintenance of Sophisticated Instruments.
