MoU between Gopal Narayan Singh University and Vidyashray (Vitmagus India Pvt. Ltd.)
Sasaram, August 8, 2025 — A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between Gopal Narayan Singh University, Jamuhar (Rohtas), and Vidyashray, Patna. The purpose of this agreement is to provide special training to students of the university’s B.Com (Hons) program, along with preparation for professional courses such as Chartered Accountancy (CA), Company Secretary (CS), and Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA).
Under the agreement, Vidyashray will serve as the university’s “Exclusive Knowledge Partner” and will conduct both online and offline classes for students at the Patna and Sasaram campuses. The university will manage the academic administration of the B.Com (Hons) program, while Vidyashray will provide study materials, question banks, and a learning management system for professional course preparation.
The MoU will remain in effect for three years and may be amended with mutual consent. The agreement emphasizes financial transparency, confidentiality, and the safeguarding of students’ interests.
This MoU was prepared under the coordination of Professor Dr. Ashutosh Dwivedi, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, and CA Pallavi Jha, whose efforts finalized the agreement and future roadmap. The academic initiative was shaped under the guidance of Professor Jagdish Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor of Gopal Narayan Singh University; Govind Narayan Singh, Secretary of Dev Mangal Memorial Trust; and Sudeep Singh, Academic Director.
The agreement was signed by Professor Dharmendra Kumar, Registrar of the University, and Prashant Ranjan, Director of Vidyashray. This partnership is expected to provide students with an integrated advantage of academic and professional education.
